Quilcene Community Center: Holidays

Hi Everyone!

Just a quick reminder to us all, that the holidays are now upon us and for most that means a time filled with warm homebaked meals and family.
So I just want to remind you to PLEASE remember those less fortunate. Don't forget about your local food banks or organizations who help supply parents with gifts for their children. I know it's been a hard year on all of us, and let's face it, we just don't have that much to give, but you would be surprised at how far a little can go.
So stay warm and keep smiling, and remember just how lucky you are.

The Great Quilcene Remodel

The Quilcene Community joined in a decision to remodel the Quilcene Community Center in February of 2007. Since that time, the community has actively supported and participated in the effort to transform the center from an undistinguished building into a community facility residents can point to with pride. During the past two years, community residents and supporters from all of Jefferson County have come together, volunteering thousands of hours to help in the remodel. Bob Rosen documented the effort to remodel the Center in video and stills.
